Darul Aytam is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand new dormitory wing, expanding our capacity to house and care for more orphaned children. The new facility, made possible through the generous contributions of our donors and sponsors, features modern amenities while maintaining a warm, home-like atmosphere.
The new wing includes 20 additional rooms, each designed to accommodate four students comfortably. Every room is equipped with proper bedding, study desks, storage facilities, and adequate lighting for both rest and study. The wing also includes a common recreation area, a reading room, and updated bathroom facilities.
"This expansion means we can now welcome 80 more children into our family," said the Director of Darul Aytam. "Every child deserves a safe roof over their head, nutritious meals, and access to quality education. With this new facility, we are one step closer to fulfilling that promise for more orphans in our community."
The construction was completed over a period of 14 months, with careful attention to safety standards and environmental sustainability. Solar panels have been installed on the roof to reduce energy costs, and the building features natural ventilation to minimize the need for air conditioning.
A special inauguration ceremony was held, attended by major donors, government officials, and community leaders. Students from the existing dormitories performed nasheed and recited Quran to mark the occasion.
