This year's annual Quran memorization ceremony was a momentous occasion as Darul Aytam proudly celebrated 30 new Huffaz who have completed the memorization of the entire Holy Quran. The ceremony was attended by families, donors, community leaders, and Islamic scholars from across the region.
Each student underwent a rigorous examination process, reciting portions of the Quran from memory before a panel of qualified scholars. The dedication and perseverance of these young students is a testament to the quality of education and spiritual guidance provided at Darul Aytam.
Sheikh Abdullah, the head of the Hifz program, expressed his pride in the students' achievements: "These children have shown remarkable discipline and devotion. Many of them completed their memorization in just three years, which is a truly outstanding accomplishment."
The ceremony also featured recitations by the graduating Huffaz, who moved the audience with their beautiful tajweed and melodious voices. Several students received special awards for exceptional performance and consistency throughout their memorization journey.
Darul Aytam's Hifz program has now produced over 150 Huffaz since its establishment, contributing to the preservation and transmission of the Quran to future generations. The institution continues to provide a nurturing environment where orphans and underprivileged children can excel in both Islamic and secular education.
